California Theme Parks Can Reopen on April 1!

California Theme Parks, like Disneyland, Knott's Berry Farm, LEGOLAND, and Universal Studio can reopen as soon as April 1, 2021!


Today health officials announced that certain outdoor activities including California theme parks can reopen as early as April 1st with restrictions.



Theme parks are required to follow health restrictions and they can only open at 15% capacity. The limited reopening would not include indoor rides, and theme parks would only be open to California residents upon opening.


Disneyland Resort President made an statement today after the good news. "With responsible Disney safety protocols already implemented around the world, we can't wait to welcome our guests back and look forward to sharing an opening date soon."

Universal Studios Hollywood called it "exciting news." Six Flags Magic Mountain has not made an statement yet.


Disneyland is planning a new event, Touch of Disney Food Event, which is coming to Disneyland California starting March 18, 2021.


LEGOLAND has introduced specific safety measures at each of their attractions in an effort to safeguard the health, safety and well being of visitors.



Knott’s Berry Farm Hotel, California Marketplace and Knott’s Chicken Dinner Restaurant (outdoor dining only) are already open. Knott's Berry Farm is looking forward to welcoming you back to the park soon.
