This Spring you can enjoy LEGOLAND California in a whole new way. Starting March 5, 2021, LEGOLAND is having build and play days at LEGOLAND California! Keep reading to find out all about what to expect when LEGOLAND finally reopens this Spring!
On the build and play days, you get to enjoy some of the most popular outdoor playgrounds at LEGOLAND, including the Hideaways in Castle Hill and DUPLO Playtown, and never-before-seen musical entertainment.
The activities include:
Free Play Zones Kids can enjoy some of LEGOLAND California’s most popular outdoor playgrounds, including the Hideaways inside Castle Hill and DUPLO Playtown!
LEGO Building Activities Enjoy special building activities that LEGOLAND is hosting for these event days in Fun Town; PLUS, build the ultimate boat and test it in the water at Coast Guard Build-a-Boat.
Distanced Character Meet & Greets Enjoy socially distant LEGOLAND Character Meet & Greets with a line-up of some of the most popular costume characters appearing throughout the day!
Miniland U.S.A. Stroll through Miniland U.S.A. and take in the sights of some of the country’s most famous cities. This is the only place where you can travel from New York to New Orleans to Las Vegas and Southern California itself in just minutes!
I-Spy Miniland Scavenger Hunt A unique LEGO Minifigure I-Spy scavenger hunt all over Miniland U.S.A.
The rides will not be open, but you also get to enjoy some of LEGOLAND's most popular food items at the Market at Smokehouse BBQ, Pizza Mania, and The Beer Garden. The famous Granny’s Apple Fries and Churros con Chocolate will be open as well! You can enjoy some recently reinvented fun menu items like deconstructed s’mores, colorful rice crispy treats, popcorn, Granny’s Apple Fries and colorful churros.

Shops will also be open, where you’ll find the largest selection of LEGO products on the West Coast.
Build N Play days are happening on these dates: March 5 – 7, March 12 – 14, daily through March 19 – April 11, April 16 – 18, April 23 – 25, April 30 – May 2 from 10am - 4pm. Tickets are $19.99 to $29.99 per person; $14.99-$19.99 per person for Silver, Gold, Platinum, Elite and Ambassador Annual Pass Holders, and Children 2 and under are free.
If you stay overnight in one of the LEGOLAND Hotels, you can add the LEGO CHIMA Water Park for $10 more, which is exclusive for Hotel guests from March 12 - May 2.
