SwimRight Academy

SwimRight Academy

Using the SwimRight® Method, SwimRight Academy utilizes the swim-float-swim technique as the foundation of swimming lessons and focuses on providing children with the knowledge of confidence and safety in and around the water.

From these basic skills, swimming lessons take students from the beginning stages of swimming all the way to learning all 4 strokes: freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke and butterfly.

Private Swim Lessons

This type of lesson is necessary for infants and students who are not water safe and require more attention. It is also recommended for older students with extreme anxiety or behavior that is not conducive to group lessons. Once the anxiety or behavior is overcome, the older student can fit happily into a group lesson.

Group Swim Lessons

This type of class is good for children who are in the Floaters level or above that can follow directions and work effectively in a group setting. For most students, this is the ideal lesson structure. Instructors make every attempt to group students of comparable ability, maturity, and compatibility together to ensure every swim class is fun and productive. Available for children 4 years old and older.

Parent-Tot Program

The Parent-Tot program is for children under 2 years old. This class helps to establish comfort in the water and is a great bonding time for parents and their children. In this class, the instructor will teach the parents how to correctly hold their child in the water, the correct way to take them underwater, and the importance of the back float. Their technique is taught using songs and games that introduce what the child will be learning later in private lessons.

Private Swim Lessons at Your Home

SwimRight Academy offers lessons in the comfort of your home or at the pool of your choice. The year-round Academy offers lessons to swimmers of all ages – some starting as young as a few weeks old. The company's core value is to teach and inspire the lifelong gift of water safety!

They teach their proprietary SwimRight® Method, a comprehensive and result-driven curriculum that emphasizes water safety and body position techniques to properly learn how to swim. Using a hands-on approach, instructors make sure that any skill being learned is done correctly and efficiently. This approach is beneficial so that swimmers are learning the right way and build muscle memory to repetitively perform that skill well.
