At Underwood Family Farms, you can enjoy the true farm experience. You get to pick your own fruit and vegetables on the fully operational working farm. It's a great day outdoors for the entire family! You can also enjoy the convenience of shopping at the Farm Market for the same field-fresh produce.
The Farm Animal Center has farm animal displays, pony rides, activities and games. You can even host a child’s birthday party by reservation. Don’t miss Easter on the Farm, the Fall Harvest Festival every day in October and Christmas on the Farm in December!
During social distancing, the Moorpark location is open only for pick your own fruits and veggies. The animal center remains closed till further notice. You are asked to wear a mask and keep social distancing.

When you visit Gilchrist Farm in Santa Clarita, we want you to slow down and enjoy the ranch! At this farm, you can learn how to milk the goats, gather eggs or take a horseback-riding lesson. The farm is open year-round on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. so you can enjoy the petting zoo, take a wagon ride, a pony ride and participate in a seasonal farm craft, like soap-making.
In the spring, they host spring day camp, Spring Fling and Egg Hunt, and an unforgettable Family Camp Out and Barbecue. Each summer, they host multiple day-camp sessions. The most memorable event of the year is the Harvest Festival, hosted daily in October. Admission to the farm and parking are free; activity prices vary.
During social distancing, Gilchrist Farm is open for Horseback Riding Lessons starting May 30 with some careful distancing and scheduling! They are also offering Summer Farm Camp this year with fewer campers and fewer weeks. They'll add activities, classes, parties and more as Los Angeles county moves to the next phase of opening.

Since 1940, Tanaka Farm has been dedicated to providing families with quality products and educational experiences. The farm provides families with things to do all year round. They host Strawberry Tours March through June, Watermelon Tours July through August, and a Pumpkin Patch Tour from September to October. Tanaka Farms grows and harvests fresh produce right on the farm by using responsible farming methods. The produce stand is open seven days a week all year, except for a short winter break.
During social distancing, you can go out to the farm for strawberry picking in a safe and socially distant manner. You must per-register. No walk-ups or on-site registration allowed. Curbside Pick-Up is available daily from 9:30am to 4pm. You can begin placing orders at 5pm for next day curbside pick-up. Last order for same day pick-up is 3:30pm.

At Tapia Brothers Farm you'll find super fresh fruit and vegetables (though not organically farmed). From March to November, the kids will get a kick out of the chickens, goats and rabbits running around the place. Best known for its corn, tomatoes and luscious strawberries,Tapia Brothers Farm also has a pumpkin patch in October and sells Christmas trees in December.

Children will love a visit to the Animal Acres farm sanctuary, which focuses on rescuing and protecting farm animals. Guided Tours are offered every Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays year-round, wherein kids may pet and cuddle cows, pigs, turkeys, and other farm animals. Tours are held at 11 a.m., 1 p.m., and 3 p.m. Tours cost $10 for adults, $5 for children 4-12, and children under 3 are free.
Farm Sanctuary will not be open in month of June for the health and safety of people. However, you can support the farm by shopping their official store for clothing, bags, and more.

McGarth Family Farm is a sustainable farm that grows a high diversity of year-round organic fruits and vegetables. The McGrath Family farm features educational tours where kids may feed and handle farm animals, and pick fruits, vegetables, and even flowers. The tours are $10 per person. Self guided animal visits are $4 per person.
McGarth Family farm is open from 10 am to 5pm daily during social distancing for pick your own. But please call for availability.

At SaddleRock Gardens you get to hike and harvest. You’ll take off on a hike through the vineyards on the private estate of Saddlerock Ranch, and explore organic vegetable garden where you will get to harvest fresh produce directly from the soil beneath your feet. You will get to bring home a bag of fresh produce you picked yourself.
You can also enjoy a five course meal at the SaddleRock Gardens composed by a guest chef with vegetables grown in the organic farm. You get to explore the garden and talk to the gardeners. Dinner service is a combination of family platters and buffet style. The dinner is not recommended for kids under 6 years old.

Carlsbad Strawberry Company has been growing Strawberries for four generations. At this farm, you can shop fresh produce, and pick your own strawberries. You can also learn about growing pumpkins, corn, and strawberries. During fall, the farm offers a beautiful pumpkin patch and they also have a really fun corn maze.
During social distancing, the Carlsbad Strawberry Company's U-Pick fields are open. While no advanced reservations are required, you are asked to wear face masks when visiting the field.
Considered a Central Coast landmark, OstrichLand Farm near Solvang, California is a popular destination for families. Watch, feed, and get to know amazing ostriches and emus. The highlight of a visit is feeding the ostriches and emus. You cam get close and personal with these big birds and be safe at the same time. Tickets are $5 per adults and $2 for children. You can also buy food for the birds for $1. (worth the drive)
