Barnsdall Junior Arts Center
The City of Los Angeles runs the Barnsdall Junior Arts Center in historic Barnsdall Park, offering youth classes in ceramics, drawing and painting, darkroom photography, media arts, music and theatre. Classes serve ages 3 to 17, and some sessions are designed for a parent and child together.
Class fees are modest, which makes this one of the best values in LA for kids who love to make things. Popular classes fill quickly and some go to a waitlist.
