This one-night-only event will take place on Saturday, September 17th at the Hollywood Bowl. The performance starts at 7:30 pm, and the preshow and contest start at 6 pm. What is Sing-a-Long?
A Sing-a-Long is an event where people participate in a performance by singing along with the performers. It’s a great way to experience a performance in an entirely new way.
Pre-show and costume contest
Before the show, there is a costume contest which starts at 6 pm. You can dress up as any of the characters in the film: Maria, Captain von Trapp, the nuns, the kids, Liesl, or even Baroness Elsa Schräder! All costumes are welcome so let your imagination run wild. The pre-show contests will be hosted with hilarious Melissa Peterman.

Where is the Hollywood Bowl? The Hollywood Bowl is located at 2301 North Highland Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90068.
Is there parking at the Bowl? Yes, there are several parking lots at Super Bowl. You must pay to park. The cost is approximately $20 per car. But you have many other options to get to the Bowl.
What time should I arrive at the Bowl? It is recommended to arrive at least one hour prior to the performance. But if you want to participate in the pre-show contest, then you should arrive even earlier. Gates open at 5:30 pm, so if you want to enjoy this event to the fullest, arrive early.
Can I bring snacks and drinks to the event? Yes! You can bring food and drink and do a picnic before the show. Bring a picnic towel or blanket if you plan to picnic.

Should I bring a jacket? Absolutely. Even if the weather is hot during the day, you should bring a light jacket or sweater or if you want to really snuggle, bring a blanket.
Can I rent a cushion at the Bowl? Yes, and make sure to bring cash. The cushions are only $1 each.
What if I can’t or don’t want to sing? No problem! You don’t have to sing. You can just listen and enjoy the show.
Is there an age restriction to attend the event? No. There is no age restriction. This is a family-friendly event and Kids of all ages are welcome and encouraged to attend and sing along. Kids under 2 don't need a ticket and can sit in your lap. Children over 2 are required to have tickets for Hollywood Bowl seating.
