Mr. Jack O’Lanterns Pumpkin Patch is back at The Original Farmers Market on October 10th and 11th! The Market Plaza is also decked out in festive, Fall decor through the month of October, perfect for a quick family photo or Instagram post. The pumpkin patch will be on the Plaza from 10am-6pm. Grab your kiddos and stop by to find the plumpest pumpkins big or small, perfect for decorating or carving jack o’lanterns at home. There will be crowd control to allow 6ft distancing along with mask-wearing guidelines. And, for a donation of $5 (or more), families will receive a take-home pumpkin-decorating kit with craft supplies and mini pumpkin.
Underwood Family Farms will have its' annual pumpkin patch with social distancing starting October 1, 2020 through October 31, 2020, at the Moorpark location. They will be offering acres of pumpkins, fall harvest decor, multiple photo opportunities, a Country Store, rides to and from the fields, and viewing of the animals. Weekends will including roaming entertainment. With more than 30 acres to visit, they are able to offer plenty of room for social distancing. Food and snack will also be available onsite. Reservations are recommended on weekends but are not required. (Admission is $8 Monday-Friday, and $15 Saturdays and Sundays).

Descanso Gardens will be having a socially distant pumpkin patch from October 1st through October 31 from 9 am, to 5 pm daily for Halloween. The pumpkin patch will feature a hay maze, a pumpkin house, colorful pumpkin mandalas, a pumpkin arch that leads to a forest filled with pumpkin-headed scarecrows and hand-carved jack-o-lantern boxes. Autumn bites, seasonal soups, caramel corn, and churros will be available for purchase. Halloween costumes are encouraged for kids under 14. Tickets are $4-$15 and must be reserved in advance.
Tanaka Farm is planning to make the 2020 pumpkin patch a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone. They are offering a Drive-Thru Pumpkin Farm Experience which will be open from now through October 31, 2020. The U-Pick Pumpkin with Wagon Ride option is open Mondays through Fridays and includes watching the launch of the pumpkin cannon, a ride through the barnyard educational exhibit with farm animals, lots of fun stuff to look at, a scarecrow contest, sunflowers, U-Pick veggies, and a pumpkin you pick yourself! You must pre-register. The drive-thru experience is $20 per vehicle, and the U-Pick Pumpkin with Wagon Ride is $25 per person.
Forneris Farms will have a Pumpkin Patch this October with modification. The pumpkin season usually starts October 1st at Forneris Farms. They have the most beautiful pumpkins in Los Angeles County and a variety of other fall harvests. Due to the restrictions by CDC, they will not have their Corn Maze, Pony Rides, or a Petting Zoo, but they will have plenty of pumpkins. Tina's Pumpkin Patch will be open Sundays to Thursdays from 10 am8 pm to 8pm, and Fridays and Saturdays from 10 am to 9 pm. There will be a free straw maze, and you can enjoy train rides for $3 per person. Pony rides will be available Wednesdays through Sundays for $6. The Petting Zoo will be open daily for $3 per person. Staff will be cleaning the wagons and train after each guest. There will be increased hand washing stations and hand sanitizer dispensers throughout the patch.

Irvine Park Railroad’s Pumpkin Patch in Orange County is planning to open its' annual pumpkin patch between September 19 through October 31, 2020. The Pumpkin Patch is located just behind the train station and admission is free. The pumpkin patch will include train rides, hayrides, John Deere racers, panning for gold, hay maze, great food, lots of pumpkins, and much more.

Stone Soup Farm offers a variety of heirloom pumpkins for your culinary and decorating needs. The farm grows a small patch of these traditional pumpkins that are Pre-Picked and available at the Farm Stand. Take the whole family and pick out your favorite autumn pumpkin. The Farm Stand will have Pre-Picked pumpkins available through October. There is also a puppetry show for the kids at the farm in October (check the website for more details).
