Movie Theaters, Indoor Dining, Gyms & Museums Can Open in LA This Monday!

Los Angeles County is reopening more venues as we have reached the red tier!


The wait is finally over! LA County is reaching red tier by Monday, and more venues such as indoor dining, movie theaters, indoor gyms, and indoor museums can reopen with restrictions as early as Monday, March 15, 2021.



Movie theaters can reopen indoors at 25% capacity with reserved seating only where each group is seated with at least 6 feet of distance in all directions between any other groups.


Restaurants can reopen for indoor dining at 25% capacity or 100 people, whichever is less. The tables must be at least eight feet apart, with each table having not more than 6 people. Bars that don't serve food can't reopen yet. But Wineries, breweries and tasting rooms that don't serve food can reopen outdoors. Also, up to three households can now dine together outdoors.



Gyms can reopen indoor activities at 10% capacity. But saunas and steam rooms remain closed.


Museums, Aquariums & Zoos can reopen indoor areas at 25% capacity.


Theme Parks have got the green light to reopen starting April 1, 2021 at a limited capacity



Capacity for stores has doubled to 50% capacity, and grocery stores can now go back to full capacity. Schools have got the green light to reopen for in-person instructions.
