In each episode, listeners will get to hear all about L.A.'s famous mountain lion P-22, the efforts to save the endangered western monarch butterfly and southern mountain yellow-legged frog, building native plant habitats, and even the story of a rare bird's journey to L.A. smuggled in a sock!
L.A. Zoo's Director of Conservation, Dr. Jake Owens, will be chatting with experts from the zoo and beyond to uncover how people and wildlife are thriving together in the city. And if that wasn't enough, there will also be bonus episodes featuring a renowned foley artist discussing the art of creating nature sounds for movies, a Watts hip-hop performer and entrepreneur sharing his message of conservation, and other unique and diverse voices.
