A San Diego summer tradition is coming to Catamaran Resort Hotel & Spa this summer on the shores of Mission Bay! This annual Sunset Luaus is a festive celebration of Polynesian food, music, and dances perfect for families.

The memorable luau experience is happening Tuesdays and Fridays, from June 24, 2022, through September 2, 2022, and includes a lei, Mai Tai, an all-you-can-eat buffet, and entertainment. Local luau group Pride of Polynesia provides authentic island music and dance, featuring hula and fiery torch dancers.


You will be transported to the islands with an impressive display of luau dishes, including Kalua roast pig and pork loin, spicy shrimp and grilled pineapple salad, and Hawaiian sweet rolls. And for the dessert, you can find treats like coconut cream cake and more. See the complete program here.

All of the 310 suites, studios, and hotel rooms at Catamaran provide the comfort and amenities to enjoy the beachfront lifestyle. The rooms feature a balcony or patio with breathtaking views of Mission Bay, the Pacific Beach neighborhood and coastline, or the property’s lush tropical gardens.


Dog-Friendly


The Catamaran Resort Hotel is a dog-friendly resort. You can take one housebroken dog per guest room weighing 50 lbs. or less, or two smaller dogs. There is a room cleaning fee of $125 on the day of check-in for guests with dogs. There are no charges for service animals. Dogs must be leashed at all times while outside of your guest room.
