Los Angeles School of Music
The LA School of Music offers high-quality in-person and online music lessons and classes. Music lessons are proven to boost self confidence, improve academic and communication skills, develop discipline and perseverance, and encourage team work.
Our award-winning teachers tailor lessons to each student to ensure a great experience for everyone. Teachers are background-checked, vaccinated for Covid-19, and are vetted for experience and great personality. Our instructors regularly perform in movie soundtracks and with groups like the LA Phil and LA Master Chorale.
Students have the opportunity to participate in two recitals yearly, with the option to perform in-person or online.

When my son began piano lessons with Alana he was 4 years old and had no clue how to play an instrument. She is very patient and a great teacher, as well as very detailed with her students. Every week she provides him with flashcards and homework assignments for him to study at home so he can practice. It’s been 5 months since my son enrolled with Alana and now he can read music notes as well play piano. I’m very proud of his improvement, and continue to look forward to him learning more. My son (6yrs old) has been taking piano lessons with Chelsea for the past year. This is his first experience with music lessons and it has been wonderful. Chelsea has been a caring, careful, and patient teacher. She is always laughing through the lessons, and makes my son feel so comfortable and relaxed. He looks forward to his lessons, and has been so happy to learn how to play songs. He plays for family and friends, and loved participating in his first recital. He has gone from no music experience to learning the grand staff and where to put his fingers in the past year. We appreciate the ease with which the music school works, using paypal, email, and the teacher coming to our house. I have been taking lessons with Chelsea for a few months and she has taught me so much in such a short amount of time. I have been playing piano since I was a child however have never been able to read sheet music. In just a few months, I have started reading almost everything we practice without having to write in notes.
