Be among 50,000 people that are expected to ring in 2020 at the seventh annual Grand Park + The Music Center’s N.Y.E.L.A. this year! Greet the new decade at L.A.’s biggest free music and dance party on December 31, 2019 with your entire family.
This alcohol-free, family-friendly event will expand its celebratory footprint to seven city blocks from L.A.’s iconic City Hall through the newly renovated Music Center Plaza (from Los Angeles Street to Hope Street and from Temple to 3rd Street).
L.A.’s best DJs and bands will perform simultaneously on two major stages, including headliners Pan Afrikan Peoples Arkestra with DJ Pauli The PSM, Banda Las Angelinas, Thee Sinseers and DJs from Gasolina and Cherry Poppin’, plus a new “Boogie Down Dance Zone” for families and children to enjoy Top 40 hits selected by DJ Cool Era.
Grand Park + The Music Center’s N.Y.E.L.A. will feature more than 40 food trucks and its signature 3-D video projection and light show on the west side of City Hall designed by L.A.-based digital innovation studio yU+co. The theme, “Who is L.A. 2020?”, will feature joyful and timeless images of the beautiful Angeleno community.
