Where to see Christmas lights in Newport Beach?

Wondering how to celebrate Holidays this year during pandemic and be safe too? Newport Beach is celebrating Holiday with beautifully decorated yachts, boats, kayaks and canoes sailing along the harbor in it's 112th Newport Beach Christmas Boat Parade.

This year’s parade will be held from December 16th through December 20th, 2020 hosted by the Commodores Club of the Newport Beach Chamber of Commerce. The parade starts at Tip of Lido Isle at approximately 6:30 p.m. each night, and ends at the same location.

This year, the parade will also be streamed to viewers, giving the world a front-row seat to the this Southern California spectacular. The virtual viewing experience will take place on multiple platforms including web, social media and the city’s local broadcast channel NBTV, and will run all five nights of the parade.

The show will include the parade’s entirety, the Ring of Lights home competition, entertaining interviews with participants and spotlights on the Grand Marshal frontline heroes and local charities.

The first public viewing destination is at the new 10.5-acre Marina Park, which offers 177 parking spaces, and is also the largest public viewing area along the parade route, creating an optimal location to gather and enjoy the festivities.

Also, from December 4th through January 3rd, you can experience the Newport Harbor in full holiday décor aboard one of the decorated vessels on a 75 minute holiday lights cruise. On your cruise, you get to view multi million dollar estates and vessels all decked out with thousands of lights. Holiday Cruises Dec 4 - Jan 3. This cruise is $32 per person.

If you want to be a part of the Newport Beach Boat Parade, Davey's locker offers three 90 minutes Christmas Boat Cruises every night of the parade from December 16th through December 20th. The cruises are $32 per person.

We highly recommend to buy your tickets early as the space is limited on the boats due to social distancing, and the tickets are expected to sell out very fast this year!
