This October, four giant illuminated humanoid figures will invade Downtown Los Angeles and take over FIGat7th. These giants are quiet and gentle, yet curious about our fantastic planet and its inhabitants. They’ll live among us, observing the crowds at FIG while serving as the backdrop to countless selfies.

Inspiration for this light installation has been taken from the 1973 Czech/ French film Fantastic Planet (La Planète Sauvage). This stop motion science fiction film directed by René Laloux depicted a story set in an unimaginably distant future in a world of gargantuan humanoids where human beings are a feral race.
The giants are another edgy and ephemeral artwork by Australian artist Amanda Parer.

Be sure to stop by with your kids between October 30, 2019 and November 10, 2019 between 11:00 am to 11:00 pm to say hello, touch, hug, and take selfie with these giants.
FIGat7th is located at 735 S. Figueroa Street, Los Angeles, CA 90017.

Sounds amazing! Gonna take the kids, for sure. Gotta remember my Email Extractor to grab some contact info for future events. Hope we can get some good selfies! So excited!
OMG, giant glowing figures in DTLA? That's gonna be epic! Definitely taking the kids. Hope they don't act like a ragdoll hit when we try to take a selfie! This looks so cool!
I called Preferred Garage Doors Denver when I noticed my garage door was hanging unevenly. It turned out to be off track with a few broken components. https://preferredgaragedoorsdenver.com/ repaired it the same day and ensured everything was balanced and safe. I’m grateful for their fast response and excellent service. Trust them for any kind of garage door problem!
My greatest happiness is playing Block Blast.
