The museum features a veterinary clinic equipped with iPads that can be used for taking X-rays, community market with scanners at checkout, a faux café, art room with vegan paint, sponges, brushes and balls where children can create their own masterpiece, and much more.

You are invited to participate in a special workshop at the Institute of Contemporary Art this Saturday. Join artist Díaz Lewis to create pillows from recycled clothing and learn about current U.S. immigration issues. Each pillow becomes a part of 34,000 Pillows – an ongoing project that addresses the system of detention centers and its treatment of detainees. Musicians and poets will also be on hand to read fragments of news, literature, and poetry during the workshop. You should RSVP online.
