Arcadia School Breaks and Long Weekends
Thanksgiving Week
Arcadia Unified takes the whole week of Thanksgiving off. Kids are home from Saturday, Nov. 20 through Sunday, Nov. 28, 2027, which is nine days in a row. Right before that, Veterans Day and a student-free day give families a four-day weekend, Nov. 11-14.
Parent Tip: Two long breaks so close together can sneak up on you. Book Thanksgiving break camps in early fall if you need weekday coverage.
Winter Break
Winter break runs Monday, Dec. 20 through Friday, Dec. 31, 2027, about two weeks with the weekends. Arcadia High students should also note the minimum days Dec. 14-16, and that Friday, Dec. 17 is a student-free day at the high school, so high schoolers get an early start on the holidays.
Spring Break
