Yellow Bird Chase

Yellow Bird Chase is a wordless, family-friendly theatrical romp from the Boston-based company Liars & Believers, built entirely around movement, masks, and puppetry rather than dialogue. The story follows a runaway pet bird and the ragtag group of neighbors who chase it across town, turning a simple premise into an hour of visual comedy that works for every age and language in the audience.

One performance each run is a sensory-friendly, relaxed showing with adjusted sound and lighting, making this one of the more accessible family theater options on our calendar this fall. Because the whole show is told through movement and physical storytelling rather than words, it tends to hold younger kids' attention especially well.
