Through The Pages: A Fairytale Ballet… With Bite

Redondo Ballet's annual fall production, Through The Pages, is an original ballet that treats fairy tales with a little extra bite. The story centers on a magical grandmother who spends one unforgettable weekend each year enchanting her grandchildren with tales, and each story springs to life on stage through dance.

Audiences meet Scheherazade and Ali Baba, a warrior princess and her dragon, characters from A Midsummer Night's Dream, the Magic Horse and more. With dancers of many ages, elaborate sets and colorful costumes, the show offers a lively, kid-friendly introduction to ballet that still keeps grown-ups entertained.

For an extra-special outing, the Sunday matinee offers an optional pre-show Through The Pages Experience. Children listen to Grandma read a story, enjoy cookies and cider, and decorate their own magic wand before the curtain rises. The add-on costs an additional $30 per child, each child needs a chaperone with a valid show ticket, and families select the ticket option that includes the experience when buying.
