Let your imagination run wild at Symphonies for Youth: Painting with Music—a playful and inspiring journey where music and visual art collide! Hosted by the Los Angeles Philharmonic at the iconic Walt Disney Concert Hall, this interactive concert introduces kids to the magic of symphonic music through the lens of artistic expression. Think of it as a musical art class where your ears do the painting!

In just 45 minutes, young concertgoers will explore how composers—from French Impressionists to modern creators—have transformed sights into sound. What does the ocean sound like in a symphony? How can traffic inspire a melody? With a little curiosity and a lot of creativity, kids will discover how music helps us "see" the world in new ways.Come early for the hands-on arts workshops where kids can get crafty and inspired before the show starts. Perfect for families and designed especially for ages 5 to 11, this program is a wonderful intro to classical music in a welcoming, kid-first setting.
