Description

Get ready for a spellbinding evening with the Symphonic Jazz Orchestra, a 68-piece powerhouse led by renowned conductor Mitch Glickman. Bringing together jazz’s rhythmic soul and the sweeping elegance of classical music, this concert showcases boundary-blurring brilliance. Grammy-nominated Brazilian-American artist Clarice Assad, known for her magnetic compositions and exceptional vocals, will take the stage to perform works by Milton Nascimento, Astor Piazzolla, and her own stirring pieces. Assad’s global performance history includes collaborations with icons like Bobby McFerrin and Sergio Assad, adding depth to every note. The event kicks off with world premieres from composers Ryan Cohan and Francisco Torres, featuring the vibrant saxophonist Justo Almario—a musical experience you won’t want to miss!
