Swiss Winter Village

The Santa Monica Pier is getting a holiday makeover straight out of the Alps. Swiss Winter Village turns the Pier's Event Deck into a twinkling Christmas market with more than 100 wooden chalets, brought to LA by the team behind some of Switzerland's most beloved holiday markets.

Kids can join storytelling, face painting and creative workshops, ride a nostalgic merry-go-round, hang out in the children's corner and spot stilt walkers, while live concerts and DJ sets keep the village buzzing into the evening. Santa will greet families in his own alpine chalet, with professional portraits available by reservation.

Grown-ups can browse handmade gifts, ornaments and jewelry from artisans and local makers, then warm up with melted raclette, Swiss sweets and treats from around the world, all with the Pacific Wheel glowing right next door.

All ages are welcome. The village is stroller and wheelchair accessible.

Ticket prices: TBA. Tickets will be sold through Fever; join the official waitlist to be notified when they go on sale.

Children under 3: Free

A box office will be on site, but booking ahead is recommended. Date changes are allowed up to 48 hours in advance; no refunds.

🍔 Food

About 30 food chalets serve raclette, Swiss sweets, mulled wine and international street food, with vegan and gluten-free options. Food and drinks are sold separately, and the market is cashless.

🚙 Parking

The Pier parking deck is closed during the event. Nearby parking includes the Civic Center Garage (333 Civic Center Dr.) and Beach Lot 1N (1550 Pacific Coast Highway). Accessible parking is available at Beach Lot 1 North and Lot 1-S on Appian Way.

Public transit is encouraged: the Metro E Line's Downtown Santa Monica station (4th St. and Colorado Ave.) is about a 10-minute walk. Rideshare drop-off: 1550 Appian Way.
