Skirball Hanukkah Festival

Families can spend a whole afternoon celebrating the Festival of Lights at the Skirball. Art-making stations, a Light Lab, a Shadow Story corner and a Dreidel Lounge give little hands plenty to do, while kids can pitch in on a miniature City of Light.

Skirball Storytellers bring the Hanukkah story to life, and LA klezmer favorites Mostly Kosher supply the soundtrack. As the sun goes down, everyone gathers for a community candle lighting.

Your ticket also gets you into the museum's galleries during the event. Noah's Ark will have limited walk-up entry, and the Archaeology Dig is closed that day.

All ages are welcome. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

🎟️ Tickets/Price

$23 general; $18 seniors and full-time students; $16 children 2–17; free for members and children under 2. Tickets go on sale Thursday, Nov. 5, 2026, at 10 a.m. A limited number of walk-up tickets may be available if advance tickets sell out.
