WonderWalk Turned Dark: Halloween at WonderWalk Hollywood

WonderWalk on Hollywood Boulevard has gone dark for October. Its three photo-ready attractions, the Upside Down House, the Giant's House, and the Museum of Illusions, are dressed up with limited-edition Halloween sets that are only around through October 31.

The Upside Down House is now haunted, with eerie lighting and creeping vines spread across its flipped kitchen, living room, bedroom, and bathroom, so you can strike a spooky pose while "standing" on the ceiling. Next door, the Giant's House kitchen has turned into a cannibal kitchen full of oversized food props and creepy details that make everyone look tiny.

Brand-new for the season is the Dark Portal, a red-lit room wrapped in twisted roots around a mysterious gateway. Keep an eye out for a giant spider web to get tangled in, zombies throwing a Halloween party, a new clown, and a spooky photo backdrop, plus all the regular 3D illusions.

It's spooky-silly rather than truly scary, and the whole visit is indoors and self-paced. Most families spend about 60 to 90 minutes, and the kids will want to see every photo on your phone before you even reach the sidewalk.

All ages are welcome. Kids 4 and under get in free with a paying adult, kids tickets cover ages 5 to 12, and guests 13 and older need a general admission ticket.

Children must be supervised by an adult at all times. Some rooms use mirrors, projections, and lighting effects.

Family Pack (all access for 4): from $200.

Single attractions: Museum of Illusions from $35 (kids $25); Giant's House or Upside Down House from $20 each (kids $15).

Kids 4 and under: Free with a paying adult.

Food and drinks are not allowed inside the attractions. Plenty of restaurants line Hollywood Boulevard nearby.
