SaMo Pride Celebration

Get ready to turn up the color and the joy at the SaMo Pride Celebration—a vibrant, all-day party celebrating love, inclusion, and community spirit in the heart of Santa Monica! This city-wide celebration takes over the Promenade, Santa Monica Place, Main Street, the Pier, and even the beach with a packed schedule of exciting activations for all ages.

Start your day at the Santa Monica Pier with Fabulous Fables: Drag Queen Pride Family-Edition, complete with rainbow face painting, dazzling performances, and a fabulous family parade. Then dive into a Beach Sporting Experience with OutLoud Sports—offering everything from kickball to cornhole with beats, bites, and beach vibes. Volleyball fans can hit the sand north of the pier for open-format fun with Pride Point Volleyball.

Over at Santa Monica Place, enjoy the kid-friendly Pride Disco and Kid Zone, with a silent disco and creative crafts in partnership with the Cayton Children’s Museum. Then head over to the Third Street Promenade for live music, giveaways, LGBTQ+ vendors, and the debut of the Entertainment Zone, where sipping your favorite drink while you shop is totally welcome!

Don't miss the Pop-Up Library with free queer books, stickers, and a special Rainbow Storytime with audiobook legend Vikas Adam. Over on Main Street, it's Drag Bingo time in the Beer Garden as part of the lively Summer Soulstice festival. Cap off the day with two rounds of laughter and love at The Crow, featuring Pull My Finger – Pride Edition and the heartfelt storytelling show Story-echtomy, with comedians and allies sharing real moments and real laughs.
