Play for All Abilities – Inclusive Play Hours

 The Southern California Children's Museum invites children and families of all abilities to Play for All Abilities, a special inclusive play session held on the last Thursday of every month. During these dedicated hours, the museum creates a quieter, more relaxed environment by lowering lights, turning off music, and limiting crowds—making it the perfect space for children with developmental differences to explore, learn, and connect. Families can also access sensory backpacks with noise-canceling headphones, sensory toys, and visual guides to enhance their experience.

If you can’t make it during these special hours, sensory backpacks are available for free rental any day of the week—just ask at check-in!
