Movies at The Steps: Hocus Pocus

The Culver Steps is getting into the Halloween spirit with an outdoor showing of the cult-favorite witchy comedy Hocus Pocus. The Sanderson sisters take over the Lower Plaza for a cozy evening movie night in the heart of downtown Culver City, and the best part for families is that it costs nothing to attend.

Movie fans should pack their own blankets or low chairs and stake out a comfortable spot before the film starts at 7:00 PM. Complimentary popcorn is handed out while supplies last, and the surrounding restaurants and shops make it easy to grab dinner or a sweet treat before the show. Costumes are a fun way to get the kids even more excited for the season.

No registration is needed, so your family can simply show up and enjoy. Hocus Pocus is rated PG and works best for school-age kids, tweens and teens who enjoy a little spooky silliness. The screening is weather permitting, so parents may want to check the venue's social channels on the day of the event.
