Montebello's 2026 Halloween Fest: MonsterBello!

The City of Montebello is giving its beloved Halloween Fest a spooky new identity this year. MonsterBello takes over Grant Rea Park for six hours of free, family-friendly fun, with the same festival favorites locals look forward to every fall plus a little extra monster personality.

Kids can get creative at the craft tables, bounce off some sugar in the inflatable jumpers and wander a trick-or-treat maze designed for children ages 10 and under. Food trucks keep hungry goblins fueled, and the costume contest hands out prizes for the scariest, most creative and best group looks, with a special category for leashed pets in costume.

Once the sun goes down, the Haunted Train Ride starts rolling. It is recommended for riders ages 8 and up, requires a signed waiver, and runs on a first-come, first-served basis with no advance registration. Admission is free, and families can reserve free tickets through the city's official event page.
