Monster Bash

Halloween isn't just for little kids, and Riverside's Monster Bash proves it. Hosted by the City of Riverside Parks, Recreation and Community Services Department at the Youth Opportunity Center, this free evening event is designed just for students in grades 7 through 12.

Teens can make the rounds at special trick-or-treat stations, bounce around on giant inflatables, play games and dive into a lineup of spooky activities. It's a fun, supervised way for middle and high schoolers to celebrate the season with friends when they feel too old for door-to-door trick-or-treating.

Costumes are encouraged, so teens should come dressed to impress. Admission is free, which makes this an easy pick for families looking for a safe Halloween hangout for older kids.
