Mini Monster's Bash

The Children's Museum at La Habra is turning its hands-on galleries into a not-too-spooky Halloween playground for Mini Monster's Bash. This evening event is made for young kids, giving them a cozy, indoor way to celebrate the season with crafts, games and plenty of candy.

Kids can trick-or-treat at candy stations set up throughout the museum's exhibits, then stop at the Halloween craft tables to make something fun to take home. Interactive games and activity stations keep things moving all night. At 6:00 PM, the Mad Scientist Show brings bubbling, fog-filled cryogenic effects and audience-participation experiments that tend to leave kids wide-eyed.

Space is limited and pre-registration is required, so families should buy tickets ahead of time. Strollers are allowed in the building but must be parked on the covered balcony during activities. Tickets are nonrefundable, and free parking is just steps away.

The event is best suited to toddlers, preschoolers and young school-age kids.
