Memorial Day Remembrances at Forest Lawn

Spend your Memorial Day in reflection and community at Forest Lawn - Cypress, where families and friends are invited to come together for a heartfelt remembrance of fallen veterans. Part of a larger regional tribute across six Forest Lawn locations, this free event honors American servicemembers through a beautiful blend of tradition, music, and community connection.

Attendees will experience a powerful lineup of patriotic elements including moving musical performances, ceremonial wreath layings, flag presentations and retirements, keynote speeches, and invocations. The event also features activities for the whole family, such as arts & crafts for kids, complimentary coffee and sweet treats, giveaways, and more. It’s a meaningful way to honor those who served while spending quality time with loved ones in a peaceful, park-like setting.
