Mad Monster Mash & Movie Night

Monsters, games and a classic comedy under the Halloween sky: Cheviot Hills Recreation Center is throwing its Mad Monster Mash & Movie Night, a free community celebration for the whole family the night before Halloween.

Kids can bounce in the jumpers, try their hand at games and crafts, and enter the costume-ready contests before settling in for the movie. It is a relaxed, neighborhood-style way to get into the spooky spirit without the crowds of the big ticketed events.

At 6:00 PM, the evening switches to movie mode with Young Frankenstein (rated PG), the Mel Brooks monster comedy. Food will be available for purchase, so you can make a full evening of it.
