Halloween Haunt

The City of Lawndale is throwing its annual Halloween Haunt right on Halloween night, and the whole family gets in free. The Lawndale Civic Center fills with music, food vendors and plenty of costumed kids from late afternoon into the evening, making it an easy way to celebrate without driving far from home in the South Bay.

Little ones can show off their costumes in the costume parade, get their faces painted and fill their bags along the Trick-or-Treat Trail. Older kids who like a few goosebumps can test their nerve in the Haunted Maze, while games keep everyone busy between treats.

Live entertainment adds to the fun, with performances by Kids Imagination and the Franklin Haynes Marionettes. With food vendors on site and a four-hour window, your family can arrive in costume, grab dinner and stay for the shows before heading out for more trick-or-treating.
