Ghosts of the Miles: Festival of Memories

Santa Monica's historic Miles Memorial Playhouse opens its doors for Ghosts of the Miles: Festival of Memories, a free, all-ages Halloween celebration presented by Panda Roja Design with support from the City of Santa Monica's Art of Recovery program.

Families can wander through the beautiful 1929 playhouse, try light Halloween activities and meet the costumed cast in person. Organizers describe it as perfect for families with young children, so this is a gentle, giggle-filled way to get into the spooky spirit.

Have teens who love a real scare? The same weekend, the playhouse hosts Ghosts of the Miles: Historical Haunt, an evening walkthrough that ventures into backstage corridors and secret rooms. That one is recommended for ages 16 and up.

Historical Haunt (ages 16+): Friday, October 23 and Saturday, October 24, 2026, with entry times at 6:00, 6:45, 7:30, 8:15, 9:00 and 9:45 PM
