Fabulous Fables: Drag Queen Pride Family-Edition is back and ready to bring big joy, bold stories, and even bolder outfits to the heart of Santa Monica Pride! Hosted inside the charming Merry Go-Round Building at the Santa Monica Pier, this feel-good event is a celebration of creativity, acceptance, and community spirit. From 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., families can enjoy a dazzling lineup that includes Drag Storytelling, face painting, a live performance by Santa Monica Playhouse, poetry by Santa Monica’s own Poet Laureate Anne Carmack, and a pop-up from beloved kid-lit crew Books & Cookies. Plus, local vendors will be on hand with delightful, family-friendly goodies. It's a colorful, magical morning that welcomes everyone with open arms and glittering smiles.
