Día de los Muertos at Hollywood Forever

The beloved Día de los Muertos celebration at Hollywood Forever returns on Saturday, October 24, 2026. From noon until midnight, the historic grounds come alive with artistic altars honoring loved ones, colorful processions and performances that celebrate Mexican culture and tradition.

Families can watch Aztec dancers and folklórico performers, enjoy live music, admire art in the cathedral and enter costume contests. Children's programming makes the festival welcoming for younger visitors, and the altar exhibition is a meaningful way to introduce kids to the traditions behind the holiday.

Food and arts-and-crafts vendors line the grounds. Tickets are sold for three arrival windows, and guests may stay past their window. Earlier arrival is usually the best choice for families with young children, as the evening hours tend to be the most crowded.

This is a paid event.

Current general admission prices range from about $36 to $46, depending on the entry window, and kids ages 5–12 tickets are about $27 for the noon–4 pm window. Prices include fees and may change.

Children under 5 are free. All sales are final, with no refunds or exchanges.

🚙 Parking

Paid parking is available in nearby structures, including Paramount Lemon Grove (900 N. Van Ness Ave.) and Paramount Gower (801 N. Gower St.), open 11 am–2:30 am. Parking details are emailed to ticket holders.
