Chemistry Day

The Santa Ana Zoo is turning a regular zoo visit into a science adventure with Chemistry Day. Educational booths pop up throughout the zoo grounds, inviting kids and grown-ups to discover surprising facts about chemistry as they wander between animal habitats.

It is a fun way to show young learners that science is everywhere, from the world around them to the animals they love. Families can stop at the booths at their own pace, ask questions and then keep exploring the zoo, its play areas and its rides.

Chemistry Day is included with regular zoo admission, and Friends of Santa Ana Zoo members get in free. Plan to make a day of it, since the zoo is compact, stroller-friendly and easy to cover with little ones.
