California Science Center Homeschool Days: Geology Rocks

Calling all homeschool scientists! On this Homeschool Day, your family trades the usual curriculum for a hands-on earth-science adventure inside the California Science Center's Big Lab, where staff educators lead small, age-grouped classes built entirely around real, hands-on activities.

Geology Rocks digs into how our planet's rocks, minerals, and landforms are made — the kind of tactile, up-close learning that turns a nature walk into a lesson kids actually remember. Because sessions are grouped by age and led by the Center's own science educators, it's a comfortable, well-supervised way to add a full day of real science to your homeschool week.
