Description
The Brand Associates 2025 Dance Series is back to shake things up—literally! This beloved Glendale tradition transforms the beautiful grounds of Brand Library & Art Center into a hub of creative energy every Saturday in May. Curated by the visionary Jamie Nichols, this exciting series brings together some of Southern California’s most compelling dance companies for site-specific performances that break boundaries and reimagine space.
The series kicks off with Pennington Dance Group on May 3, as they celebrate their 25th anniversary with Spirit of Dance—an emotional, high-energy performance that brings music, movement, and meaning together in one unforgettable evening. From there, the stage (or should we say the lawn?) welcomes a vibrant mix of performers: Afro-Peruvian Dance Experience Co., Volta Collective, and No Easy Props—each bringing their own unique flair to the series. Best of all? Every performance is totally free and open to the public! But seating is first-come, first-served, so arrive early, bring a blanket, and prepare to be moved—literally and figuratively.
