Bob Baker Marionette Presents: FIESTA!

Bob Baker created ¡FIESTA! more than fifty years ago as a “love letter to Latin America,” taking inspiration from his neighbors, as well as from his majority-Latin American team of puppeteers in Los Angeles.

Last year, they presented an updated ¡FIESTA! that reflects a variety of voices, cultures, and traditions, and revitalizes this classic show for a new generation. Due to popular demand, they are excited to bring back ¡FIESTA! for a 2023 season filled with even more exciting additions, surprises, and fun!

¡FIESTA! features a marionette lineup of dancing cacti and colorful birds, marimba maestros from Xochimilco, a brand new Día de Muertos sequence, and a newly outfitted marionette mariachi band inspired by Mariachi Arcoiris de Los Ángeles! (…Plus some brand-new additions!)

Bob Baker is offering a sensory-friendly version of ¡FIESTA! on May 7th at 10:30 am for guests who would prefer a show environment with modifications for reduced sensory aspects and additional accommodations.
