Bella Beats in the Garden – Jonny Zye

Bella Terra's Bella Beats series brings local musicians to the Huntington Beach shopping center's outdoor spaces, and this Sunday afternoon the spotlight lands on singer-songwriter Jonny Zye. He plays a three-hour set in The Garden, the open-air patio tucked between Dog Haus and Sourdough & Co, so families can wander in, find a seat and let the music set an easygoing weekend mood.

Jonny Zye blends acoustic soul with rock, pop, and folk and country flavors, a mix that tends to please every generation at the table. Grown-ups will hear echoes of classic soul and guitar heroes, while kids can tap along to catchy melodies and watch a working musician up close. He started performing as a kid and was posting his own songs online as a teen, which makes him a fun example for young music fans who dream of picking up a guitar.

The setup is relaxed and flexible. Because the stage sits right in the middle of Bella Terra's dining area, your family can order lunch or a snack nearby, enjoy a song or two, and then head off to shop or catch a movie. It is a simple, low-key way to add some live music to a weekend afternoon in Orange County.
