Ahoy, adventurers! Ever dreamed of becoming a sailor for a day? Now’s your chance! The Ocean Institute’s Adventure Sails is the perfect way to dive into maritime history—literally. Every second Saturday of the month, families are invited aboard for an unforgettable voyage where you’re not just a passenger—you’re part of the crew.
From hoisting sails to steering the ship, navigating like an old-school mariner, and standing bow watch, every moment is packed with action and discovery. The crew—decked out in authentic historical garb—will show you the ropes (literally), and just when you think it can’t get any more thrilling... BOOM! A live cannon demonstration blasts you back in time with a bang. It's fun, it's educational, and it’s an epic experience for sailors of all ages.
