A Talk Through Pier History

Once a month, the Santa Monica Pier opens its historic Merry-Go-Round Building for A Talk Through Pier History, a free one-hour storytelling session with Pier Executive Director and Historian Jim Harris.

Expect memorable tales from more than a century of Pier history, a lively Q&A and a book signing. Curious kids are encouraged to bring their questions, and there is no better backdrop than the famous carousel building itself.

Seating is limited, so reserve your free spots ahead of time.
