3rd Annual Mission Viejo Chili-Cookoff

It’s back and bolder than ever—the 3rd Annual Mission Viejo Chili-Cookoff is heating things up at the Norman P. Murray Community Center! Hosted by the Mission Viejo Rotary Club, this family-friendly festival is packed with fiery flavor, fun, and philanthropy. Whether you’re a chili connoisseur, a local foodie, or just here for the good vibes and music, this event has something for everyone.

Taste your way through dozens of chili creations—some classic, some wildly inventive—cooked up by local chefs and chili masters competing for bragging rights and cash prizes. Got a killer chili recipe of your own? Enter the cookoff for just $50 and you could walk away with $500 and serious spicy street cred.

Beyond the bowls of chili, guests can browse local vendor booths, rock out to live music, and enjoy fun activities for the whole family. Every ticket helps support scholarships for Mission Viejo high school students and local charities, so you’re doing good while eating great.With community leader LaVal Brewer at the helm, this year’s event is about more than just mouthwatering chili—it’s a celebration of togetherness, opportunity, and giving back.
