- Adventure City: The Little Theme Park That Is Big On Family Fun!
With 17 rides, shows, and attractions, Adventure City, in Orange County, is an affordable alternative to other Southern California theme parks. This hidden amusement park is a must go to for families with kids of all ages. And the best thing about it is that you get to go on the rides as many times as you want, and you don't even have to stand in long crazy lines. The park is small enough that you get to ride all the rides in one day and enjoy them one by one, but big enough to have all the rides that your kids would love to enjoy at an amusement park. From little rides like "Rescue Ride" for little ones to a "Freeway Coaster" for the older kids, Adventure City has covered kids of all ages. You can take your 3 year old to the park along with your 13 year old knowing that they will both have a blast. One thing I really liked about this park, as a parent, was that I didn't have to stress about missing a ride or trying to figure out what to do next. By the end of the day, you get to enjoy the entire park at your own pace. And since you don't have to pay for each ride separately, you get to relax and spoil your kids to unlimited rides! Another thing that I really liked about Adventure City was that there are umbrellas and benches next to most rides making it easy to wait for your kids to enjoy their rides, while you sit in the shade. Here is the list of the rides and attractions: Rides Balloon Race - Spinning balloon ride. Barnstormer Planes - Spinning airplane ride. Drop Zone - A drop tower ride. Freeway Coaster - The park's first roller coaster. It was built around a giant pepper tree which existed on the site before the park was built. Adventure City Express Train - A 14 in gauge ride-able miniature train ride. Crazy Bus - A bus-themed flat ride. Crack 'n' Roll - On this unique mini-train, every child gets to be the engineer. The fun part is that "Kid power" makes it go! Carousel - A vintage 1946 carousel featuring 20 horse figures. Giggle Wheel - A mini Ferris wheel. Rewind Racers - A unique family shuttle coaster. A first of its kind in North America. Rescue Ride - 6 individual rescue vehicles that travel around a serpentine track.
