On May 27, 1936, the Queen Mary departed from Southampton, England embarking on her maiden voyage. The Queen Mary had set a new benchmark in transatlantic travel, which the rich and famous considered as the only civilized way to travel.  Since her retirement from the sea as an active liner in 1967, the Queen Mary has never been more popular as an iconic Southern California attraction, hotel, and venue for special events.

Every year Queen Mary celebrates Chinese New Year, and ScotsFestival, and Valentine’s Day in February,  St. Patrick's Da,  and Queensway 5K in March, Waterfront Cook-Off in May, 4th Of July, Rumble On The Water during summer, Dark Harbor from September through November, Queen Mary Christmas from November through January., and New Year's Eve in December.

 

Queen Mary Royal Sunday Brunch

Wrapped in the elegant grace of the Grand Salon and featuring live entertainment, the Royal Sunday Brunch has the air of a royal soiree and is anything but typical. The Queen Mary Royal Sunday Brunch takes you on a worldwide culinary adventure and features over 50 unique dishes from around the globe. The highlight is the signature carving station, which offers perfectly prepared prime rib with au jus and leg of lamb with mint jus.
