Natural History Museum of Los Angeles
Natural History Museum of Los Angeles is an extensive natural history museum with beautiful dramas of North American and African mammals, and a hands-on, interactive Discovery Center with live animals, shells, rocks, bones, insects, and other specimens. Watch for special exhibits like butterfly pavilion, and spider pavilion.
There is an easy stroller access on the north side of the building.
Admission to NHM for Los Angeles County residents is free between the hours of 3 and 5 p.m. on all days that the Museums are open. Timed tickets must be reserved online and will be available for reservation on a first come/first served basis.
Butterfly Pavilion and Nature Gardens are now open for members and the general public! Natural History Museum Los Angeles will reopen to the public on April 1, 2021.
