Things are getting Mesozoic at the Zimmer with a Dino Fest this weekend. Zimmer will be opening their Art Room for a slew of dinosaur inspired activities. You can make “dinosaur bones” to take home, put together dinosaur skeletons, and even crack open “rocks” to find the “fossils” inside. Go dressed as your favorite dinosaur and get a discounted admission!

This week is the last chance you can see the LA Zoo Lights until the next year. Explore this wild wonderland of light under the stars at the beautiful L.A. Zoo. Tickets are available online for purchase.

This is a new exhibit at The La Brea Tar Pits Museum. The exhibit features life-sized models, hands-on activities and the latest research on these amazing creatures. At this exhibit you can see these creatures come to life, find real fossils, and more. Please check the website for hours.

You are invited to explore over 19,000 square feet of fan built models, shop with vendors for sets and unique gifts, and let your imagination run wild in the play area! Public exhibit hours are Saturday the 5th from 9am to 5pm and Sunday the 6th 9am to 4pm. Bricks LA VIB activities for builders will take place January 4-6th, 2019.

This is the last week you can go to this fantasy forest of lights. Another event that will be gone till next year is the Enchanted: Forest of Light, which is an interactive, nighttime experience featuring a one-mile walk through unique lighting experiences in some of the most beloved areas of Descanso Gardens. Tickets range from $28-$30 for the general public, and $23–$25 for Descanso Gardens members.
