Young Jane and Michael have sent many a nanny packing before Mary Poppins arrives on their doorstep. Using a combination of magic and common sense, she must teach the family how to value each other again. Mary Poppins takes the children on many magical and memorable adventures, but Jane and Michael aren’t the only ones she has a profound effect upon. Even grown-ups can learn a lesson or two from the nanny who advises that “Anything can happen if you let it.”! (Cost: $28 for adults, $23 for students and seniors)

Calling all puppeteers (and their puppets!) to this cinematic celebration starring Jim Henson’s most beloved characters. The beloved story of The Little Mermaid comes to life onstage in an interactive mini-musical adventure from Creating Arts Company. Specially designed for young audiences, this one-hour show will get everyone cheering the heroes and booing the villains as they follow the journey of Ariel, a mermaid who dreams of being human. When she makes a deal with the evil sea witch for a pair of legs, Ariel has three days to win the heart of the handsome prince, or become the witch's prisoner. After the show, stick around L.A.'s Pico Playhouse to meet the cast and snap some selfies! (Cost: $15)

Le Ballet Dembaya will take you on journey to the country of Guinea on the western coast of Africa through their uplifting and energetic percussion and dance. The Big World Fun family series takes place on Saturday mornings, June 30 - August 4, at 10:00 AM. These hour-long music and dance performances are for children ages 4 to 12 and their families.

Pre-show activities start at 9:00 am. Kids will make bows and bowties from traditional African wax fabric, inspired by filmmaker Wanuri Kahiu's concept of "AfroBubbleGum". (Cost: Adults: $5, Children 12 & under are Free)

STEAMing through Summer is an 8-week series that creates learning opportunities in a fun and interactive way. Weekly programming will explore Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math. Celebrate our Country's Birthday on June 30th at the Printing Museum's annual Independence Day Celebration event with our Founding Fathers Ben Franklin, John Adams, and Thomas Jefferson, otherwise known as The Confounding Brothers! They'll present a thought-provoking account of The Declaration of Independence and how our nation came to be.

Festivities include special working tours of the Printing Museum collections, including the opportunity to print your own Declaration of Independence on Franklin's colonial press and other revolutionary items on our collection of antique printing equipment.
