There is always so much to do with kids in Los Angeles, and at Fun With Kids in LA, we are dedicated to bring you the best of them. It is the last weekend of BubbleFest at Discovery Cube Orange County, and if you haven't been there yet, this is one event you wouldn't want to miss. We also highly recommend a visit to the Underwood Family Farm this weekend as they continue to celebrate their Springtime Easter Festival.

Other fun events this weekend to do with kids include Knott's Boysenberry Festival, Sidewalk Speedsters at Peterson Museum, Day out with Thomas, King Tut Exhibition, L.A. Dance Project at Wallis Annenberg Center of Performing Art, and Home Depot Kids Workshop.

BubbleFest continues this weekend with bubble spectacular, featuring hands-on family fun and the return of the Mega Bubblefest Laser Show! Interact with bubble activities and learn more about the science behind the soapy fun. A special exhibit dedicated for children fascinated with fast cars! The display features a diverse range of child-sized race cars, from old to new, electric-to-gas powered to sophisticated, and affordable to luxurious. With a focus on cars that could be “raced” by adolescents in competition, the exhibition Sidewalk Speedsters: The Grown-up World of Children’s Cars examines the development, purpose and meaning of vehicles that were often campaigned in friendly competition, but because of their tiny size, effectively preclude their use by adults.

Encourage a love for nature and ornithology in our hands-on workshop where you and your child can build a window birdhouse. Your young birdwatcher can observe birds’ behaviors like building a nest and watching eggs hatch without the need for expensive equipment. Once your birdhouse is built, your child can decorate it with paint and stickers.

All Kids Workshop attendees must be accompanied by a parent or adult at all times. All kids get to keep their craft, receive a FREE certificate of achievement, a Workshop Apron, and a commemorative pin while supplies last.
