Toddler Tuesdays – Musical Mornings

Looking for the perfect weekday outing with your little one? Toddler Tuesdays – Musical Mornings at the Autry Museum of the American West hits all the right notes! Held on the second and fourth Tuesdays each month, this interactive music workshop is a fantastic way to introduce your child to the joy of rhythm, sound, and movement in a fun and playful setting.

Led by the engaging Tim Hancock, the morning is split into two age-appropriate sessions. For the youngest musicians (ages 0–2.5), it's all about playful exposure—singing, moving, and grooving to different tunes. Older toddlers and preschoolers (ages 2.5–5) get a more hands-on musical experience, learning the basics of music through Boomwhackers, rhythm games, and easy-to-understand theory. Think of it as musical magic wrapped in giggles and wiggles!Workshops take place in the cozy Family Play Space and are free for Autry Family members or included with one paid adult admission. Just remember—space is limited, so make sure to register ahead of time. It’s the perfect way to start your little one's love affair with music!
